The Muhlenkamp Management Team
James S. Head oversees the business management operations of Muhlenkamp & Company, Inc. He is also responsible for implementing the company's long- range strategic business plan.
Tony Muhlenkamp joined the family business in August 1992.His initial focus on taking care of clients and shareholders has expanded to include leading our Client Service Department, speaking to investment conferences, NAIC clubs and AAII chapters throughout the country, and consulting with clients on financial and estate planning issues. Prior to working for his father, Tony worked as a software consultant, served four years as a United States Marine, and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.
Jean A. Leister manages the administrative functions of Muhlenkamp & Company, Inc. and also serves as Secretary to the Company’s proprietary mutual fund. Since joining Muhlenkamp & Company in 1986, Mrs. Leister’s duties have grown considerably. Presently, she is involved in managing the Company’s general ledger and financial records, payroll and employee benefits, and reporting and regulatory requirements of the SEC. Mrs. Leister began her career in the insurance industry, working with Body-Borneman Insurance Company as an administrative assistant. She also worked in secretarial positions at The Pennsylvania State University in the College of Agriculture, both in the Short Course/Winter Course, and in the office of the Dean of Resident Education. Jean A. Leister graduated
with Honors from Boyertown Area Senior High School where she was
a member of the National Honor Society and also received the Order
of Gregg Shorthand Writers Award.
Celeste D. Zingarelli is responsible for the marketing activities of Muhlenkamp & Company, Inc., including efforts to promote the Company’s self-named mutual fund. She is charged with building recognition of the Company’s core capabilities, specifically the expertise of the investment management team and the personalized service that accompanies it. Before joining Muhlenkamp & Company in 2001, Ms. Zingarelli served as an independent advisor to Carnegie Mellon University’s Executive Education Center housed within the Graduate School of Industrial Administration. In this capacity, she developed and facilitated custom programs for Fortune 500 companies, including Bayer, PPG Industries, Heinz, PNC Bank, and Union Switch and Signal. She also managed her own consulting firm focused on management alignment and performance, working with organizations like the New York City Transit Authority. Ms. Zingarelli began her career at Mellon Bank in 1980, retiring from the banking industry as a vice president with FIServ in 1995. Celeste D. Zingarelli received a Bachelor
of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh in 1979 and completed
the Program for Executives at Carnegie Mellon University in the
fall of 1995.
